Lindenwood Welcomes New 教师 in the College of Arts and Humanities

The College of Arts and Humanities welcomes several new faculty members across disciplines for the 2022-23 academic year.

Idolina Hernandez

Idolina Hernandez

From Brownsville, Tex., Hernandez joins the History Department at Lindenwood. Hernandez is a U.S. Historian, specializing in Early America and legal history.
“There are many reasons I am excited to teach at Lindenwood University, but the most important is that I appreciate the students and the intellectual community I have found here. I look forward to sharing my love of history and getting involved in all the exciting initiatives that are happening at Lindenwood,” Hernandez said.
Hernandez completed a bachelor's degree in psychology/sociology from University of Texas at Austin, a master’s in sociology from Boston College and a master’s in history from Saint Louis University. Hernandez is also completing a PhD in History at Saint Louis University.

Joining Lindenwood University’s Theatre Department, Ogle specializes in performance studies and calls St. 查尔斯,莫. 首页. Ogle holds a BFA in Acting from Northern Illinois University, a master’s in Interdisciplinary Curation from New York University, and is a PhD candidate at UC Berkeley, pursuing a degree in Performance Studies.

An expert in costumes hailing from Tokepa, Ks., Rowe joins the Theatre Department this fall. “I'm excited to be joining the faculty in the Theatre department in the College of Arts and Humanities. I love all things having to do specifically with costumes and sewing; and more generally with all types of art and music. My teaching specialties are Costume Design, Costume Technology including Costume Construction, 平的模式, 隔声材料, 女帽类, 染料技术, 妆, Wigs and Costume Crafts,罗说. Rowe holds a bachelor's degree in French and Fashion Merchandising from Baker University, and an MFA in Theatre from University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Jennifer Scheier

Scheier, from Montville, Ct., will teach in the Theatre Department at Lindenwood. With specialization in stage management and production management, Scheier will enhance the Lindenwood classrooms. “Ever since I was a little girl, I knew that I wanted to teach and inspire the next generation of learners. I think there is a lot of truth in the adage that every time you teach, you learn something new. I love teaching all things related to stage management but especially the field's history and the use of digital tools in contemporary theatre making,Scheier说. Scheier holds a bachelor’s degree in history and social science from Eastern Connecticut State University, an MFA in Theatre/Stage Management from University of Iowa, and a PhD in Theatre from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
